Evolutionary design
Most air purifiers house the filter and fan in a hard casing to draw air into the unit and push it back out again. But the casing, despite open grills designed to let air flow freely into the purifiers, actually acts as a barrier.

The BlueAir AirPod strips away the hard casing from the filter, fully exposing it to the surrounding air. Instead, the filter is now cradled in a docking station that contains the patented BlueAir HepaSilent™ technology. The filter and docking station form a compact module that delivers clean air at a rate of 45 cubic feet per minute. This sphere of clean air created by the AirPod is a "Personal Clean AirZone."

The BlueAir AirPod delivers more clean air at a faster rate than any other cleaner its size on the market. The Airpod's 13 in. height makes it ideal for small areas. Its light weight redefines the word "portable" to describe air purifiers: with filter attached, it weighs just 1.7 lbs, much less than other portable air purifiers. The compact 6.3 x 4.3 x 13 in. design is the result of years of research and development.

True personality
Personalization is a completely new feature for most air purifiers. The AirPod introduces two distinct choices to individualize the unit: a filter design and docking station accent colors.

Sound environmental design
Every BlueAir product strives for efficient material usage, light weight, energy efficiency, easy assembly, and less packaging. The AirPod is no exception.

The AirPod uses approximately 60% less material to manufacture, 50% less packaging, and 85% less energy than other air purifiers with comparable performance. It also runs on less than five watts of power, whereas other units require 40 watts. The unit does not use chemicals or release ozone by-products. In addition, all components and packaging are 100% recyclable.
