The "Beam Line" Series Model 225C, formerly the Classic Series, is great for smaller homes where the amount of space is an issue, such as apartment homes, condo's and townhouses. The 225c is powerful enough to handle homes up to 3,500 square feet.
The Beam 225C will give you the most bang for dollar value. With the machine's 550 Air Watts, this model will have no problems with homes under 3,500 square feet.
The self-cleaning filter in this machine is unique to Beam Central Vacuums. The filter has a weight inside of it, so when the unit is turned on, the filter goes up to protect the motor. When the unit is turned off, the weight lowers the filter, allowing any dirt that is on the filter to drop off into the 4 gallon dust bin.
